Volunteer
The Market could not happen every week without the enthusiastic help of our volunteers. We are currently recruiting volunteers to help with the following jobs:

Set up: From 8 am  to 9:30 am every Saturday morning help staff carry tents, tables, and equipment from storage to the market site, set up the tents and tables, signage, prepare the Market Information Booth for the day, and do some general site clean up if required. (note: must be able to do some heavy lifting)

Take down: 2 pm to 3 pm (approx) help staff pack up and put away all of our tents, tables, signage, and equipment after the market has closed. (note: must be able to do some heavy lifting)

Children’s Arts and Craft Area: Let the artist in you out!  Volunteers are needed to work in the children’s face painting and crafting area.

Go Green-Vamos Verde Team: Work with the staff to plan and arrange weekly workshops on eco-friendly practices that educate Vendors and Market visitors about the importance of recycling and to search out alternative solutions that will help us to meet our objective of using only bio-degradable products.

Buy Raffle Tickets: Each week Vendors contribute to the Market Basket that is raffled off at the end of the day.  To view the basket and purchase tickets  visit the Market Information Booth.  All proceeds from the raffle go towards the garden and composting project for the school.  

Community Partnerships: We are fortunate to have the support of the Asociacion de Vecinos y Empresarios Viejo Vallarta, Junta Vecinal de la Colonia Emiliano Zapata, the Secretaria de Educacion and the City of Puerto Valllarta in the creation of our vibriant community marketplace.
